Hisham has over 23 years of public and private sector experience in the transportation field, focused on project and program management, strategic planning, fund programming, traffic operations and contract negotiations. Hisham currently manages multiple freeway improvement projects and oversees the establishment of project priorities and management of transportation funding for CCTA.Prior to joining CCTA in 2000, Hisham worked with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, JRH Transportation Engineering, and the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Hisham has a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and is a certified professional engineer in California and Oregon.
