Innovate 680 Policy Advisory Committee

The Innovate 680 Policy Advisory Committee is a limited-term Advisory Committee that was formed in April 2020 to advise on the development of policies and overall program matters related to the Innovate 680 Program. Meeting Schedule

Quarterly meetings held at 6:00 PM in February, April, July, and October, generally the second Wednesday of the month.

Membership

The Innovate 680 Policy Advisory Committee is comprised of eleven (11) members. Members are appointed to represent the jurisdictions and transit operators along the Interstate 680 corridor that are impacted by the project. The members consist of Council Members and elected officials from the cities of Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Town of Danville, Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor for Districts 2 and 4, Bay Area Rapid Transit, Central Contra Costa Transit Authority, dba County Connection and the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority.

The Regional Transportation Planning Committees appoint Council Members from their respective jurisdictions and the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor from their district. The Central County Transportation Partnership and Cooperation Committee (TRANSPAC) appoints a Council Member from the cities of Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek, and the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor for District 4. The Southwest Area Transportation Committee (SWAT) appoints a Council Member from the City of San Ramon and Town of Danville, and the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor for District 2. The three transit operators appoint their own representative. Each jurisdiction or agency is allowed one primary member and one alternate member. There are no term limits as this is a limited-term committee.
